Visit with a tasting of wines and Iberian meats
The Iberian products are one of the most distinctive delicacies of our land. Cal Miqueló is a family-run charcuterie that has been working on the artisanal production of these products since 1896. Few things make sense as quickly as good Iberian charcuterie beside a glass of long-aged sparkling wine: the fat dissolves and the bubble clears the palate. On this wine and Iberian ham tasting in Penedès we walk the vineyard, the winery and the founding cellar almost twenty metres underground, and finish in the manor house garden surrounded by vines. The charcuterie comes from Cal Miqueló, a family house producing by hand since 1896, and we offer four pairings with our Corpinnat. The experience lasts two hours, costs €47 per person, takes groups of 2 to 20 people and runs in Catalan, Spanish or English.
The visit
A journey through the history of Nadal de la Boadella Estate and its wines. We will learn about the main stages of the production of our corpinnat sparkling wines and noble white wines. We will take a tour to the vineyards, the winery, and the foundational cellar, nearly 20 meters deep. And, of course, we will conclude with a tasting in a privileged environment.
The pairing
In the garden of the countryside house, a small green oasis surrounded by vineyards, we will enjoy a very special tasting:
- RNG Brut 2018 & Bull de foie.
- Salvatge Brut 2021 & Llom ibèric de gla.
- Nadal Brut Nature 2017 & Espatlla ibèrica.
- Nadal 1510 Botrytis Noble 2003 & Xoriç ibèric Joselito.
A walk through the vineyard, a visit to the cellar and access to the founding underground cellar, plus a guided tasting with four pairings: RNG Brut 2018 with foie butifarra sausage, Salvatge Brut 2021 with Iberian pork loin, Nadal Brut Nature 2017 with Iberian shoulder ham, and Nadal 1510 Botrytis Noble 2003 with Joselito Iberian chorizo.
From Cal Miqueló, a family-run delicatessen that has been crafting these products by hand since 1896, with the exception of the Iberian chorizo, which comes from Joselito. All pairings are served in the garden of the manor house.
