Produced from their harvest of three traditional Pened\u00e8s varieties: Macabeu, Xarel.lo, and Parellada, the new wine offers the characteristic freshness of Nadal\u2019s Salvatge range along with the subtle notes of nuts and baked goods so typical of extended ageing in the bottle.<\/p>\n\n<p>Nadal\u2019s Salvatge range dates back to their1984 harvest. This unusually cold and wet year resulted in their first \u201csalvatge (wild)\u201d wines. The second-generation Nadal producers, headed by Enric Nadal Rigol, decided to continue producing the distinctive sparkling wine, which has become synonymous with the unique style of the Nadal winery. The first Salvatge went on sale after maturing for three years in the cellar.
