A success for the first presentation of the new Nadal RNG 10 in the Picasso Museum in Barcelona

This new cava, which will be released in September, transmits the principles and the personality of the founder and the commitment of the new generations to these values.

Torrelavit, April 19, 2016.- Over 150 people gathered yesterday for the first of a series of presentations of the new cava RNG10 Brut Nature of Nadal, at the Museu Picasso in Barcelona. The new product of Nadal is a special selection: only bottles from the best crops are marketed as RNG Brut Gran Reserva having been left to rest in the cellar for over ten years of ageing in the bottle.

This is the Torrelavit winery’s tribute to the founder and to the principles that he passed to the company 75 years ago. “In a modest way, we want to be a little better every day, so as to offer our customers fine white wines and cavas with personality, history and commitment”, explained the general director and oenologist of the winery, Xavier Nadal.

And with this commitment, Nadal noted the efforts of the small and medium-sized enterprises to position themselves in a market where the changes are constant, “everything is flowing but hardly anything is consolidated”. Nadal asked for the support of the Administration for the small business community, with the desire to continue working so that the seeds planted by their grandparents may stay alive.

The new RNG 10 Brut Nature Gran Reserva 2004 consolidates a further step in Nadal’s RNG line. Vigorously bubbly but in a way that is fully integrated into the cava, and with great attention to the final touches, this is a cava that emphasises the values of the Xarel·lo  ̶  a variety native to the Penedès  ̶  which, when blended with the Parellada grape  ̶  gives a light and delicate wine. After the presentation yesterday in Barcelona, Nadal starts a series of events all over Catalonia, culminating in the launching of the product in September.
